Additional Green Bin Collection Scheme
Residents are permitted 1 x 240L green garden waste bin, emptied fortnightly. For any extra green garden waste bins residents are required to register and pay an annual fee of £30.00 per extra collection of their green bin. This is a fixed price for the year from 1st April 2018 - 31st March 2019. You can order the service at any point during the year, but the annual fee will be the same.
How will the service work?
Following payment, you will receive a sticker through the post. Place the sticker on top of the lid of your extra green bin. Your extra green bin(s) will be collected fortnightly on the same day; there is no change to your current collection day.
Don't forget you can take garden waste to your nearest Household Recycling Centre to dispose of free of charge or, if you have the space, you can compost it at home.
