Vibrant and Viable Places Programme - £24m boost for Wrexham
Vibrant and Viable Places is a regeneration framework that was produced by Welsh Government in March 2013. The vision was ‘that everyone in Wales should live in well-connected vibrant, viable and sustainable communities with a strong local economy and good quality of life’.
Wrexham was successful in securing £10.5million investment from the Vibrant and Viable Places Programme. Along with match funding, Wrexham has received a £24million boost. This funding will be used for various regeneration projects which will help to create jobs, increase housing supply, tackle poverty, help create work and learning opportunities and improve community facilities.
